Can I do anything to fix this keyboard? Damaged rgb and repeating letters when typing

So, my mom has a Corsair K70 rgb and my little brother offered to clean it for her. When he gave the keyboard back to my mom, she plugged it in and a few hours later, she noticed two issues. She likes to set the rgb lighting to purple, but after plugging it in, 9 of the keys are blue while the rest are purple. Also, when she types, sometimes there will be double or triple letters when she only hit that key once, for example, if she were to type "I'm wondering" it would show up as "I'm wonderiing", this is only happening sometimes at random, but it happens frequently with a bunch of different letters.

I set the lighting to rainbow and to move in a wave, and when I did that, the 9 keys worked like normal and the color on those keys showed up like they normally should have. When I set it to a static color though, the same 9 keys show up as a different color. Like, when I set the whole keyboard to be red, the 9 keys showed up as yellow. However, when I set the entire keyboard to blue, the 9 keys were blue as well, setting the lighting to blue was the only color where the 9 keys were the same color as the rest of the keyboard.

My brother admitted he used a windex soaked wipe to wipe down her keyboard so he might have damaged it that way. What exactly is the damage and is there any way to fix it without taking the keyboard apart, or is the damage irreparable? I have unplugged it, removed all the keycaps and I left the keyboard laying upside down, but I don't know what else to do.
